Mascot - Irumae

The designated typeface for body copy specifies the font to be used in the body of various online and offline media of the University of Seoul. While the use of the typefaces presented in this section should be prioritized, if unavoidable, they can be substituted with Gothic/Myeongjo family fonts that do not damage the visual image of the University of Seoul.

• Motif is based on the young hawk of the Jangsan Golgae Hawk, the symbolic animal of the University of Seoul
• Brown is the main color, the symbolic color of the hawk.
• Characterized by a body with 2-head proportion, short arms and legs, and slightly raised tail feathers.
• The UOS on the chest is used depending on the situation

Variable line: design work

The outline of all appearing characters is worked according to the given standards, and if the outline needs to be added or reduced depending on the application, approval from the copyright holder must be obtained. In other cases, follow the given outline guidelines.

Fixed line: external use

For external export other than the copyright holder, set the outline according to the following standards and export. Therefore, except for special cases, always set and export with fixed lines.

Color combination rules

For single-tone expressions of all appearing characters, it is basic to express them darker than the background color. However, in exceptional cases, it is decided in consultation with the original creator.

Reverse use is possible depending on the application.
