Disciplinary action

Eligibility
  • Currently enrolled students, students on leave of absence, or graduate research students who have violated academic regulations or engaged in behavior that deviates from their responsibilities as students.
Types of disciplinary action
  • On-campus volunteer service: Volunteer activities conducted for a specified duration of up to 30 hours at designated locations outside of class time
  • Probation: Participation in activities such as classes is prohibited, and volunteer service is required at designated locations for a period of up to 7 days (limited to 8 hours per day)
  • Temporary suspension: Suspension of student rights for a fixed period within 28 days
  • Indefinite suspension: Suspension of student rights until lifted after at least 29 days
  • Dismissal: Loss of student status

Expulsion

Eligibility
  • Students who have not resumed their studies after the leave of absence period has expired or the reason for the leave has ceased to exist
  • Students who did not complete their registration during the registration period
  • Students whose grade point average for the previous two semesters is below 3.0(B⁰)
  • Students who have exceeded the maximum enrollment period without earning the minimum required credits for graduation

Withdrawal

  • Application can be made at any time the student desires.
  • Procedure: Request for withdrawal processing to the department office (student) ⇒ Withdrawal processing (department office) ⇒ Completion and signing of withdrawal application form (student) ⇒ Submit to the Graduate School Administrative Office (department office) ⇒ Approval of withdrawal (Graduate School Administrative Office)
    • Tuition refund (only for students who have paid the tuition for the relevant semester) Complete the refund application form (department office) ⇒ Eligibility for refund and the amount determined based on the number of class days (Administrative Affairs Office)
    • Required documents and preparations for withdrawal: Personal and guardian seal (or signature), copy of personal bank book
