Educational objectives

Core objectives The educational goal is to guide students not only to acquire legal theories but also to cultivate independent academic abilities to set their own research areas and study them in depth, while contributing to the academic development of law through critical and creative research in each major field.
Detailed objectives
  • Strengthen advanced research capabilities based on knowledge of basic laws (Constitutional/Civil/Criminal Law): Analyze existing legal theories and grasp the latest academic trends to pursue the development of new legal theories
  • Strengthen research capabilities in individual law fields (Administrative/Commercial/Procedural Law/Intellectual Property/Tax Law, etc.): Introduce and critically approach foreign legal systems' research results and latest trends through comparative legal analysis to explore ways to apply them to domestic law
  • Strengthen normative understanding of international society (International Law, International Transaction Law, etc.): Analyze new phenomena emerging in complex societies and explore the role that law can practically play and solutions it can offer for these new social phenomena

Constitutional Law Research on the overall content of constitutional law from constitutional theory to practical application in constitutional trials
Administrative Law Research on important theories and practices across administrative law
Criminal Law Comprehensive research on general theories and practices related to crime and punishment
Civil Law Research on overall theories of civil law such as law of obligations and property law, their practical application, and case studies
Commercial Law Research on domestic and international theories and practical application methods and case studies in overall commercial matters such as company law, international transaction law, and securities law
Labor Law Research on theories of labor relations and case studies of their practical application
