Recruitment guidelinesOperating regulations

General admission degree programs

Master
  • Individuals who have obtained a bachelor's degree from domestic or foreign universities or those expected to obtain a degree upon completion of the current registered semester
  • Individuals recognized as having equivalent or higher academic qualifications under relevant laws
Combined master's/doctorate's program
  • Individuals who have obtained a bachelor's degree from domestic or foreign universities or those expected to obtain a degree upon completion of the current registered semester
  • Individuals recognized as having equivalent or higher academic qualifications under relevant laws
Doctorate
  • Individuals who have obtained a bachelor's degree from domestic or foreign universities or those expected to obtain a degree upon completion of the current registered semester
  • Individuals recognized as having equivalent or higher academic qualifications under relevant laws
Eligibility for master's/doctorate's
Support for North Korean defectors
  • Individuals qualified to apply for master's or doctorate's program
  • Individuals registered as North Korean defectors pursuant to the North Korean Defectors Protection and Settlement Support Act

Additional eligibility requirements and submission documents

  • Official English proficiency test score (TOEIC, TOEFL, TEPS, IELTS) must be submitted

Minimum publication requirements for doctoral dissertation

  • At least one papers as the first author or corresponding author in journals recognized by the National Research Foundation of Korea or higher
  • At least one published paper in an SCI(E)-indexed journal or higher, regardless of author ranking

Graduate school operating principles

  • Presentation at the department-wide seminar is mandatory for every semester until the third semester
