Departments

Educational objectives

Core objectives Chemical engineering is a comprehensive discipline that involves developing physical, chemical, and biological processes to produce materials necessary for human life from all resources, as well as ensuring the safety of these materials and processes. In this department, students learn to conduct research independently based on pure sciences such as chemistry, physics, and biology, and applied sciences, with the goal of cultivating professional engineers who can play a central role in various fields.
Detailed objectives

Cultivating specialized research personnel in the field of chemical engineering

  • - Providing a systematic educational curriculum for cultivating specialized research personnel
  • - Deepening learning in specialized research fields and fostering the qualities of professionals
  • - Strengthening interdisciplinary exchange and academia-industry collaboration
Research areas Process analysis and optimization, electrochemistry and polymer materials, nanoparticles and energy materials, molecular thermodynamics and molecular simulation, catalysts and energy, drug delivery and biomaterials, catalyst theory and material design, semiconductor nanomaterials technology, process systems engineering, soft materials and application devices
