  • Individuals who have obtained a bachelor's degree from domestic or foreign universities or those expected to obtain a degree upon completion of the current registered semester
  • Individuals recognized as having equivalent or higher academic qualifications under relevant laws
Combined master's/doctorate's program
  • Individuals who have obtained a bachelor's degree from domestic or foreign universities or those expected to obtain a degree upon completion of the current registered semester

Doctorate
  • Individuals who have obtained a master's degree from domestic or foreign universities or those expected to obtain a degree upon completion of the current registered semester
  • Individuals recognized as having equivalent or higher academic qualifications under relevant laws
Eligibility for master's/doctorate's
Support for North Korean defectors
  • Individuals qualified to apply for master's or doctorate's program
  • Individuals registered as North Korean defectors pursuant to the North Korean Defectors Protection and Settlement Support Act

Minimum publication requirements for doctoral dissertation

  • Eligibility to apply for thesis review

    • A. Publication of at least two papers (including those scheduled for publication), with one as the lead author, in journals registered with the National Research Foundation of Korea (including candidate journals)
    • B. Presentation of at least one paper at an international academic conference (recognized by BK achievements) or publication of at least one paper (including those scheduled for publication) in SCI(E)-level journals

  • Master's : Full-time priority selection
  • Doctorate's : Full-time and part-time
