Educational objectives

Core objectives The Department of Artificial Intelligence aims to cultivate specialized talents who can systematically and comprehensively understand and utilize not only computer software technology but also various AI core technologies following the central role of AI in advanced technologies and industries.
Detailed objectives
  • Providing personalized major tracks, including pure AI/ML research, applications in various domains, and diverse education related to algorithms and SW/HW
  • AI/ML track: theoretical lectures and practical exercises on AI/ML core algorithms
  • Applied AI/ML track: acquiring knowledge to effectively apply AI/ML algorithms in real-world situations
  • X+AI/ML track: research on applying AI/ML in various domains
Research areas Artificial intelligence, computer vision, machine learning, pattern recognition, statistical machine learning, natural language processing, robotics, recommendation systems, graph, AI reliability, speech recognition, medical AI, medical big data, etc.

Majors (track)

  • Artificial intelligence plays a pivotal role in advanced technology industries and changing future societies. The goal is to cultivate ethical talent with expertise in systematically and comprehensively understanding and utilizing diverse and complex AI core technologies. The department aims to cultivate creative and practical capabilities in AI to develop specialized personnel and foster the AI industry.
