Educational objectives

Core objectives The Department of Geoinformatics aims to cultivate specialized personnel who can understand the theory of spatial information, acquire, process, analyze, and develop methods to utilize spatial information data.

  • 1. Understanding and applying spatial information theory

    • 1-1 Understanding spatial information theory
    • 1-2 Acquiring the ability to process data received from advanced equipment such as artificial satellites
    • 1-3 Acquiring theories and methods to enhance data accuracy and analysis
  • 2. Developing solutions for spatial information problems

    • 2-1 Acquiring theories and methods to analyze various spatial information problems and provide solutions
    • 2-2 Developing marketable solutions that meet user needs
    • 2-3 Acquiring system design capabilities to acquire spatial problem data

Surveying and Geodesy Research on data processing and algorithms for installing reference points, determining gravity fields and geoids, precise positioning, and navigation
GIS and Applications Research on analyzing and utilizing spatial information, building databases, visualization, data processing, algorithms, and theories
